Bullfrog porridge is very famous in Geylang, Singapore. What about in Malaysia? I did spotted Geylang Lor 9 frog porridge opened its branch in Mentari Court Sunway Malaysia but I stil have no chance to try it. However, there is another restaurant serving good frog porridge in Bandar Puchong.
Kung Po Bullfrog RM10 each
This was really a great deal with RM10 each including the cooking method. The spiciness of the kung po sauce was pleasantly fiery and desireable mouth-watering.
Steamed Bullfrog with Chicken Essence RM30 (small portion)
Served warm with one can of chicken essence and poured onto the bullfrog gave an essential flavor and nourishing broth. The frog legs were tender, smooth and succulent fresh ever.
Plain porridge RM2
Thick and smooth porridge only cost RM2 for one claypot.
The porridge was runny smooth and I scraped my claypot clean with the thick brown sauce.
Belacan Kangkung RM6
The belacan kangkung cooked with dried shrimps and the pungent belacan aroma was simply delicious and taste great.
